Friends

I am sorry again for the gap in posting on blog. Global economic effect has now fully gripped India too. It is quite visible now on the faces of most of the people and may continue for some moe time.

In recent times, I met many businessman who were on seventh sky during boom time and now highly depressed. I can read their body language and probably only reason which I could find common is the wish to run ahead from every one else. We human beings are always knowingly or unknowingly under pressure from the peers, society and friends circle to perform the best and stay ahead. Somewhere I also noticed that root cause is always fuelled by dream and frustration. It is leading to the wrong business decisions. We always look to the known people who have achieved better than us and then we also start taking risks. The failure takes its toll but that does not mean success is non existent for failing persons. I believe failure is only signalling that the decisions need to be changed and reviewed. It does not mean one should stop taking the decisions and get frustrated. I also noticed that social pressure to perform is very high and probably family members are more to be blamed for such things. In my view there is always 'Tomorrow' and opportunities would always flow in.

The pressure is also on the kids studying, who are always being pushed to study as if nothing would remain for them if they get less than 99% . This feeling needs to be changed. Friends as a parents we should give the best possible facilities to the children to carry out study but it does not mean we expect them to perform as per our wish. I am sure even we never performed as per our parents' wish then how we can expects our children to fulfill our wish. It is really surprising to notice that we even at the age of 40-45 yrs start thinking that now children will do some big and we have played our innings fully. Infact our innings starts at this age. This passing of the dream to kids is probably our frustration and need to be stopped. We all are created by God and he has planned out for every human beings. We should give whatever we have but should never expect in return what we dream. There are innumerable opportunities available in this beautiful world to excel and believe me most of the opportunities are not backed by high education or at least High percentage. We should give them mental space and allow them to do whatever they wish. Let the flowers bloom , they themselves would make space for them and spread the beautiful fragrance they would develop. We should perform our duties and concentrate on work instead of passing the bucks to weak shoulder of kids. I believe they are more capable to exel then us.
