.....And I killed my Rabbit.

Friends this is another story very much touching I came across.
In a small town there were Peter and Vera became friends. Peter was bit mild and Vera was sharp and intelligent. They dreamt of taking the friendship further by strengthening day by day with honesty and gracefully. The friendship was quite clean so it was nurturing slowly and steady. Gradually they became good friends and then best friends. Later they thought of turning the clean and pure friendship into family friendship and hence named the relationship as brother and sister. The friendship was as pure as brothers and sisters and then told to their families about friendship turned into relationship. But the society did not take it in right perspective and hence the friendship started getting challenges from all the corners.
Meanwhile they named the friendship as a 'Rabbit' who was so cute and lovely but needed to be protected from the world. After lot of hurdles,criticism and challenges one fine day Peter was so disturbed and hurted that he killed his 'Rabbit'. He was left with no other option and so took the rabbit in his lap. The rabbit was too close to him so he thought peter is just loving him. The rabbit put the neck down and suddenly peter stabbed the rabbit. Soon the rabbit started bleeding , looked towards Peter , smiled and died.
Friends the Rabbit knew very well the phase through which he was going since long and hence he was happy that with his death Peter would not get any further challenges. Rabbit understood very well the situation Peter was facing and was happy to sacrifice his life . Next day in the morning Vera could neither find the Rabbit nor Peter and failed to understand what has happened. Only the silence in the atmosphere could tell her the whole incidence and except praying for the Rabbit and Peter she could not do anything. On the other side Peter could only curse to himself that "I killed my beloved Rabbit" . He was so sad and frustrated that did not have courage to face Vera and may never in future too. He lost Rabbit and Vera both, and Vera innocently lost peter and her Rabbit too without her fault. But would Peter be happy now?

Anonymous said...: A very touchy story indeed..anybody who would read this would have tears in eyes...but it is difficult to digest...how could one kill the innocent n tender rabbit...is it by killing the rabbit peter n vera were seperated...no ....these r just words which seperated them..but any relation does not end this way....2 ppl make a relation.. so how can 1 decide tht the relation has to be there or not...may be verbally or physically paul seperated peter n vera...but how would he or she suceed to remove feelings frm their hearts..true relations never die....nor r killed...so the rabbit is still alive in their hearts...true n pure relations once made go only with their life..only false, guilty n unfaithful relations die..............; August 19, 2008 at 12:52 PM

Anonymous said...: You gave their relationship a name that is 'rabbit'. So Peter actually tried to kill that 'concious' feeling called friendship from his heart.

But as per my experience, such relationships gradually grow into the concept of BASAL LEVEL. Means the other person's persona actually becomes the basal level of his existance in their subconcious.
Whatever distance one travels from this basal level, in the end he has to return to his basal level to truly enjoy the heights of his journey.

CERTAINLY PETER WILL NOT BE HAPPY AFTER THAT. I'll detail the cause later.; August 22, 2008 at 7:05 PM
