It is about a Week, NaMo has taken charge as PM of the country. Since last 13 years he was in Gujarat, we never felt his presence. He does not know me but I know him and hence when he moved out to Delhi, we people have started missing him. It feels as if some one of our family has gone out of home. This is the personality of NaMo and I am sure in near future whole country will start feeling his presence. It is for the good of the Country, hence we all should be happy for his movement despite we will miss him in Gujarat. 

Last couple of weeks have been quite hectic with travelling to Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai. This is also indication of improvement in the Economy. Lagta hai sach Mai Achchhe Din Aane Wale Hai. Let us hope and look for brighter time ahead .

NaMo-Jigar ka Tukda

Soon NaMo would start full fledged function as PM of the Country.  We know he is very hard working and task master and wish people would love his work as PM too. Infact, We at Gujarat would miss him as he is our "Jigar ka Tukda" but this is small sacrifice for the nation. He has big experienced battery of team politically and bureaucratically who will perform as per his instructions. 

On economic front he has to take care of inflation, rupee value vis a vis foreign currencies, CAD, and growth of the  Country. The conditions left by the outgoing government is not very good and it would be a tough task for incoming government to prove the situation. Here is a small gist for the new government on economic front :

1. Inflation to control by taking some positive steps.

2. Focus on Agriculture, Power and Infra Sectors to improve the Economy, Jobs and inclusive growth. All the pending proposals should be cleared so the necessary investment can be brought in.

3. Condition of the sick units shall be reviewed with positive attitude and necessary support should be extended so such units can stand on their own and run. They will expand and also give substantial jobs to the people. Killing such units with legal tools would be easiest thing but then lot of employed forces would get unemployed and lower the growth too. Banks should be persuaded to help the sick units instead of selling them to ARCs who are not better than a butcher house. 

4. Taxes particularly service tax shall be abolished completely as it is creating more black money in the system. Rates should be reduced and recoveries may be speed up.

5. Power projects shall be promoted in power deficit states and also the power manufacturing plants be promoted. 

6. Capital goods sector be given full support as that will bring in technology, Money and future growth in the country. This will require the strengthening Rupee in international markets.

I can give long list but these are some of the immediate requirement of the our country.

Saturday, Sunday had been great outing for us to one of the best resort of Pushkar (Raj.). The occasion was Golden jubilee anniversary of our uncle Shri Kailash chachaji and Chachi. It was great combined effort of their children, who have tirelessly left no stone unturned in making the even grand success. It is not small think to organise the event with such a perfection. Very few people have dual capability of organising the event and enjoy too. It needs lot of guts to satisfy every one who come from distant places With different back ground . It was marvellous task they performed with great coordination, respect and humbleness. We all enjoyed the event for two days and thank this wonderful family for organising this event. It is great achievement for the Hosts to make the guests enjoy for two days.

Last week I had to attend one more marriage at Abu, which was also a good event. This week I am giving some time to the profession hence travelling Pune and Nagpur. Later on will visit Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Banglore too.

Political drama is at its peak and will remain so till end of next month. Intact, it is out door drama going till 12th May and after 16th , the day counting starts, it will move to inward. Lot of editing, dubbing , back ground music and so many other things would be done. More than half of the seats have been voted and people in those areas are nor back to business. Certain states like Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu have been fully our of out door drama. Business in these states have started reviving to some extent though every one in the country will have to wait till counting .

Elections must have pumped in huge amount of liquidity in the system and this will support the economy. Let us hope for the best for the country and wish great economic growth of the nation. After all in last  5 years we have faced policy paralysis, arrogance,corruption, scam, inflation, negative growth in economy.

Whenever I go these days people talk about Gujarat. They wonder if really electricity is 100% and roads are good. Ahmedabad earlier was taken as a two tier city with normal activities, till elections. Thanks to the media that now we are taken seriously. There is huge responsibility on Gujarat now to lead the other states and sustain high growth. It would be a great challenge for this state and we are confident to prove right in untrue too.

Election season is at its' peak. Democracy is dancing through politicians. Media is playing music and we public are having party time. What a pleasant dance where every one is proving himself best and trying to be the most efficient, intelligent and open heart person. These dancers become so humble that even god may be surprising what has happened to all these typical creatures who were not like this. Most embarrassing period for Bollywood actors who can't compete these politicians in acting.  Scene  is like we have entered into a Mela where lot of games, shop keepers, eateries etc. are selling their products by luring the public. Jokers are masked with different different faces, talking different tones and trying their level best to snatch maximum voters. They know these couple of months' efforts would take them to heaven again for 5 years. They behave so humbly but afraid of fellow actors . If required they can go to any extent in defeating others. What a festival of democracy we are passing through.

New financial year has also started about a fortnight ago and once the above festival passes after another month or so, we Indians will sit back and start again concentrating on Business and Economics. It seems every one including the current government and all its' institutions have virtually accepted the defeat and are simply passing the time. No action, no decisions and of course no energy. I wish we soon get over this and start the business again.

World economy is in better shape now and there are huge opportunities available for our country if we seriously make efforts. Indian economy is under stress without any doubt and needs firm and quick decisions to revive. Last March month has seen lot defaults in the banking system. As per my estimates, more than 4 Lac Crores of Loan are under distress at different levels and if not handled properly these may become bad .

My elder daughter Nikita has just finished her Law graduation and would soon enter into legal world. My best wishes to her for great career ahead.

Festival of colors, Holi, is being celebrated today across the country. Today people meet , greet, and color each other and try to bury the bitterness  by merging  in colors. Lot of colors, sweets and above all greets rule the festival. I wish all my friends, colleagues and relatives a very colourful, Happy and pleasant Holi. There are lot of holidays in  a year but only one Holi Day. See the change in words. It may be so that our ancestors who define a rest day as Holiday wanted to make it Holy Day or Holi Day where we can meet and greet the people by burying the bitterness, forget & forgive the past.

Some months back , I had mentioned about the humiliation we get during the course of professional meeting mainly from the people we are quite close. The moment they become more important or high grade officers, they forget the old friends and even try to avoid them. I have experienced this many time in last 30 years of my experience and noticed that such incidences are party of our journey. They are required in our life as morale booster so we can remain humble and also try to improve ourselves. People often forget that time is never static and so their level too. Once again time would change and those who are insulting today are going to face the music tomorrow. Then they will not only repent but also get depressed with their behaviour . Life would be alone, aloof and deserted without any friend or relatives near them which would be too painful.

Dear Friends

"People are Good, Assignments are Good, Efforts are Good, Relations are Good but ...Resutls are not Good." This is what exactly happening since last one year with me professionally. Despite giving 100% results are not up to the mark. May be some more improvements are needed to achieve expected results. But one thing is sure "Tough time never lasts, tough people do" and this my strong belief too.

I am writing after more than a month and dont feel that I am frustrate but yes it is painful definitely. I strongly believe this is "dark before dawn" and then no one would be able stop us from success. Patience, Persistent efforts and positive attitude are the Key for any successful venture and we retain them always.  

Currently the biggest democracy of the world is dancing on loud music of politicians' speeches, announcements, posters etc. DJs of this music party are well attired in different different masks, clothes and languages. Actors changing now, those who were heroes may become villians and vice versa. As per the estimates about Rs. 50000 Crs. would be pumped in circulation in this every 5 year party and may be soon new set of Government may be in action. Meanwhile in this loud sound of music and dance of democracy, no one is bothered about economics, inflation, Balance of Payment , Current Account Deficit and all. In last one week I could not hear any thing from our so called economists and financial wizards like PC, Montek Singh, Manmohan Singh. So Economics is in back burner now.  This is probably good for the country. 

Let us see what comes out on 16th May, 2014.
