Wealth Vs. Knowledge

Friends
We Hindus worship many god and goddess every day. Mata Lakshmi is symbol of wealth and Mata Saraswati is for Knowledge. All of you must have noticed that a child starts life with blessings of Maa Saraswati and suddenly when he gets degree or any qualification he forgets her and joins the other side of Maa Lakshmi. During most of his life he remains towards the side of wealth and rarely takes side of knowledge. His identity also gets status as per the wealth size he possesses. His name, position, fame, character, personalty every thing reflects only and only the size of his wealth. I wonder why knowledge is not given due weight age as compared to wealth. We always hear the names of fortune 500 companies, wealthiest people, Rich and famous etc. Next to that is the list of beautiful women, handsome men, sexiest personalities and all. But never I heard about the list of most knowledgeable people or companies. Or the list of highly qualified professors or the list top educationist who produced highest number of successful people etc. etc.
Rather we notice that a person is often called by different names during his life time. During childhood I used to hear a story of a man named Parshuram. He was so poor that his parents could hardly manage both ends meet. No one used to respect him despite he was always first in the class. He got good degree but for some time he was searching job. He was called as Parshya. Gradually he got a nice job and started earning some thing, people started loving him and changed the name to Parshu. After some time he made some name and wealth and this led to change his name to Parshuram. But when he earned good wealth and status, people began calling him by the name Parashuramji even by the people of much older age. He did not give anything to the society and all these changes were just due to change in his wealth. After becoming Parshuramji he started doing some charity to the society and added another feature in the name of 'Seth or Saheb'. This is the miracle of Maa Lakshmi's side. Even in Lakshmiji's Aarti we get a line "Jis ghar tharo Vaaso vahi mai gunn aata, Kar na sake soi karle Mann nahi dhadkata'. I wish to ask all of you, would this be possible in case of knowledge. I doubt. Surprising na.
