Friends
Last post on the blog was on 18th September, i.e. about 13days back. Every time put something on blog, I promise my self to be regular in future. The promise is made and forgotten soon the post is over. Then I look at it every day and think for couple of minutes and scroll back to some other web pages. I convince myself for why I am not regular in writing on the blog but there is no real reason for such a long absentism except lack of focus on my part. We are busy but never so much that working hours are shot, we travel a lot but never continuously for such a long period. After 18th Sept. Navratri festival alongwith Dussehra was celebrated. Navratri in Gujarat is more important due to mass garba dances and pooja. The festive mood takes front seat in every sphere of life and suddenly the city awakes whole night. Then it ended with Dussehra when long Que can be noticed in the shops for Fafda Jalebi. Gujarat has a strong celebration culture irrespective to the caste, creed, rich, poor any thing. Every one immediately moulds into festive mood and also very fast revert backs to the work. The power of bouncing back is quite apparent here. People believe in moving further without sticking up in something irrelevant.
In school days we used to play the Ramleela as a game and boy who was fat or ugly used to be Ravan. Every one else was interested in becoming Ram only and rarely we got anyone to be Sita. Generally boys used to play this game at home. The Ravan used to get lot of beatings and had to pretend to die. Interesting part used to be of Kumbhkaran, Ravan's Brother for whom we used to bring some thing to eat and till his role was over no one could touch that sweet and other food items. But this Kumbhkaran never left anything for others to eat. He knew till the role is being played no one can object to him.
Even in professional life too there are many Kumbhkarans, who rarely allow others to eat some thing. Till the things are in their command they would ensure to suck every penny and only the leftovers are shared by others. No one pose as Ravan otherwise his survival would be challenged but who knows the reality. I dont mean that there are no Ram or good characters but mostly we come across with are Ravans. Ravan kidnapped sita but in professional life the assignments or the clients are Sita and they become victim. We all are playing Ramleela in real life too. Till not caught we are Ram and if caught then become Ravan. This is life and have to be lived like this only.
