Friends
Just came accross to a story. A businessman was passing thru a village alongwith his assistant. He noticed that this village has large number of monkeys and clicked a great idea in his entrepreneurial mind. He announced that he would pay Rs. 10/- per monkey. The villagers were excited about the idea and picked as many monkeys as they could. The businessman got 1000 monkeys and paid Rs. 10000/- in all. The villagers stopped bringing in more monkeys as it was not cost effective due to scarcity of monkeys. The businessman announced to pay Rs. 20/- per monkey now and thus got another 500 monkeys. Now most of the monkeys were caught by the villagers. The Businessman further jacked up the price to Rs. 50/- per monkey. Villagers went to the jungles and tried everything but could not caught more than 100 monkeys. They almost left the idea of hunting more monkeys. The businessman had gone to the town for some days and the assistant was posted in village. He called up some villagers and showed them all the 1600 monkeys kept in cages. He said my owner would pay Rs. 50/- per monkey and you people dont have any to catch now. He offered to sell the monkeys @ Rs. 35/- so the villagers can sale to the owner for Rs. 50/-. Villagers thought it as a very good idea to further mint money and therefore bought all the monkeys. They waited for owner to come next day. To their surprise, next day even the assistant was not in the village and there were no sign of owner turning up back.
Friends this story is exactly like share market. You have something but forced to sale at cheaper and then again the momentom is created to so high level that we buy back at very high price in the hope of earning huge profits. But by the time we get the shares the prices touch the lower circuit and poor investors loose heavily. Those who trap us already out by this time.
The moral is: Dont go for any short cut route to earn money. There is no such route in this world.
