Ten Best Quotes, I came across in Life So far

Friends
We are in Lockdown state since 36 days. Though we are getting mostly depressing and negative news mostly, here I wish to share some of the best quotes I came across in life:

1.  A mind is like a parachute: it only functions when it is open-Annonymous
I don't know who said it but this represent the fact of life. If we are biased or judgemental, we can not move forward. We need to keep mind open which can allow fresh ideas and views.

2. Everyone who shits on you is not necessarily your enemy, Everyone who gets you out of shit is not necessarily your friend and, if you are warm and happy in a pile of shit, Keep Your Mouth Shut.
A beautiful quote which hits us to the core of heart where in we become biased, suspicious, cautious and blind to judge a person.

3.  Love yourself. Flirt with your understanding. Romance with dreams. Get engaged with simplicity. Marry genuineness. Divorce the ego. That is a good life.
If you cant love yourself, dont expect others to do that. Self gratification is key to good life.

4. Don’t place your mistakes on your head, their weight may crush you. Instead place them under your feet and use them as a platform to view your horizon.
Learn from the mistakes and move forward never allow the mistakes to stop your actions. But if you dont learn from the mistakes then better let them crush you.  Those who learn from mistake of others are much smarter. Choice is yours. After all Mistakes are painful when they happen, but years later collection of mistakes is called experience which leads to success.

5. When God solves your problems, you have faith in his abilities; When God does not solve your problems, he has faith in your abilities.
Hence have faith in God and his decision to put faith in you.

6.  We always overestimate the change that will occur in the next 2 years and underestimate the change that will occur in next 10 years. Dont let yourself to be lulled into inaction-Bill Gates
A  famous quote by Bill Gates where in the vision og long term is always considered as unattainable dream.

7. It's never a good idea to wait to do anything; given the uncertainty of life, just get going." - Warren Buffet
Who else can prove this quote except Warren himself. More analysis will lead to paralysis and hence move on continuously.

8. If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it, if a problem can not be solved, what is the use of worrying.
Hahahh. This is the fact of life but never practiced. We are more worried about the first category of problems.  Later these worries cost you too dear to afford.

9. Whoever you are or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it is because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. A mysterious force would show the way to get it.
This quote was later filmed in a Shahrukh Khan film. Of course it is fact of life.

10. Don’t be afraid to take a big step when required; you can’t cross a chasm in two small steps.
Thus, every big step is cluster of many small steps. Don't worry start it, push it at the end success will be yours.

I wish you wd like these quotes and try to follow in life.

Corona Pandemic & Lockdown

Friends
The killing wave of Corona started in our country when there was an announcement of the Address to Nation by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 17.3.2020. The address to the Nation by PM was on 20.3.2020 followed by Janta Curfew on 22.3.2020 and further complete lockdown on 25.3.2020 for 21 days i.e. till 14.4.2020. At that time it was opined or misunderstood by the people that after 14.4.2020 the corona effect will fade away so the cost of lockdown can be afforded to save the precious life of my countrymen. Unfortunately, the situation was same or worse on 14.4.2020 which forced the government to extend the lockdown by another 19 days totalling to 40 days till 3.5.2020. Period of 40 days is quite pious for the Hindus and it is expected that some thing good will emerge by that time. I remember, for a lady who just delivered any infant has to live in 40 days lockdown before coming out of the house. Now, I can feel the pain our mothers had to go thru when we were born.

In this lockdown life has come to complete halt with no activity beyond the house walls. Every body across the world these days is having similar job profile ( doing household chorus), same clothing (informal bermudas, nicker, pyjama or lungi) , in depress mood with hope of revival of the situation in a very short period. The day starts with reading covid meter, newspaper (mostly online) and surfing social media on whatsapp/facebook/twitter etc. Common factor in all these information channel is the number of cases, death etc which further kills the hope to revive. The routines have changed drastically filling the office hours by meditation, sleep, reading or surfing the Net. These have their own limitations and can not be replacement for the long period.

It is already 35 days of the lockdown but there is no chance of Corona extinction. Rather, general mood is to accept this pandemic as part of the life for the next 6-9 months till there is any vaccination or medicine produced for the human being. The cases are increasing day and night and further expected to grow. Only consolation is that lockdown has so far saved our country from big catastrophe due to high vulnerable situation of our country.

The economy is put on back burner and the cost of reviving it may be tremendous. People in lockdown with no activity for such a long period will take some time after the situation gets normal. Economic engine will need lot of support and time to restart and come on the track. While the lockdown is in process, i have some serious questions related to this pandemic i.e. Whether this will leave many people unemployed/ whether certain sectors like Hospitality, Entertainment, Tourism, Beauty Parlours, Malls, Airlines, Taxis, etc. will survive this ? How & when the economy will be back on track? How people will react to the situation post lockdown? What cost we will pay for this lockdown vis a vis life saving of millions?

Only time will give the answer to these tough questions.

Challenges to Small business people post Corona Pandemic

Our country is mainly driven by self employed people which include small business people. This constitutes more than 200 million in numbers. These people are professionals, shopkeepers, retailers, small factories, carpenters, etc. Etc. The families of self financed people is dependent on day to day businesses. They also generate job to various people thus supporting larger part of the Indian population. To sum up more than 800 million people are dependent on this segment.

Corona pandemic is going to change the current business fabric drastically in near to medium term. There is lock down of 21 days, later it will be relaxed but that will be beginning of the problem for this segment. On one side there is Disaster Managemnt Act forcing the entrepreneur to pay the salary/ wages for this period and on the other side their will be no revenue for some time. Also the fixed expenses of their establishment  like interest, rent etc. will continue  to be charged to them. Even the taxation burden will be tremendous to these people. Major challenge to these people will be from the realisation side where the customers may not pay them in time crushing the whole cycle. I can foresee this that huge recovery problems are going to damage the small entrepreneur badly where in every one will use the corona as shelter to defer the payment genuinely and non genuinely too. Another challenge will be to restart the business particularly with labourers who may have moved back to their villages far away from the work place. This will impact the supply chain badly affecting the business operations.

So far there is no major support announced to this segment which firms maximum part of a over all working population . The protection and support to this segment is immensely needed for the survival of Indian economy and grow further. The damage to this segment may have cascading effect on various other sectors like real state, infrastructure, autimibile, gem & Jewellery, textile etc. I wish there will be certainly some boost to this segment and GOI is working relentlessly to take care. This segment can also be called as basic pillar of Indian economy which is badly affected by corona pandemic.
