Mistakes: Blessings of God

Friends
We all make lot of mistakes, repent later and also feel embarrass about the silliness of doing such mistakes. In most of the cases we also notice at what point we did make mistakes and also the indications which were coming to us before happening of mistakes. God cautions us but we don't care and go ahead, than mistakes happen and we curse to god. But what god can do, he cant come directly and hence sends signals but we fail to understand his language. Both are helpless but there are two good learning's from these:
1. A collection of mistakes becomes experience and ultimately the reason for success;
2. We can not go back and correct bad beginning or the mistakes of past but god allows us to make successful ending.

Infact, the mistakes are blessings of god which prepare us for success. Every successful person has done more mistakes than the failure one and hence if we are surviving with more and more mistakes, let us take it as blessings of god and move further. Let us feel proud of the mistkes we made and just try to laugh on those mistakes.
Looking in the past of my life and career I notice lot of mistakes, I did, could have been avoided but due to various reasons, could not resist from doing the same. Despite all the mistakes, I also feel there is some invisible power / force which stands with us and keep us standing too. Is this power called God or the intuition we get before doing the mistake is God or both are faces of God? I don't have answer of this but only can feel so. What you think?
Meanwhile, Recently finished "The world's greatest comebacks by Robert A. Schuller, son of renowned writer Robert H. Schuller". It is good book and reminds about various people who faced lot of challenges and bounced back with full strength.

The Alchemist

Friends
Recently finished this wonderful book "The Alchemist-Paulo Coelho". The alchemist means a person who can turn any metal into gold and lives for more than 300 yrs. It is story about a boy, who is basically a shepherd but a big dreamer too . To make his dream true , he pass through lot of hardship and challenges but nothing stops him from moving further. The book tries to point out that your dream treasure may be near to you but the route may take you to long journey full of hardship, risks and challenges. The book mentions many great quotes along with the story like:
1. The greatest lie in the world is "that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what is happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate".
2. Every one knows at their young age what their destiny is and at this point every thing is clear and possible. At young age they don't afraid to dream and yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible to realize their destiny.
3. Everything on the earth is being continuously transformed, because the earth is alive and it has a soul. We are part of that soul but we rarely recognize that it is working for us.
4. The soul of the world governs all things and when you want something with all your heart, that is when you are closest to the soul of the world. It is always a positive force.

The dreams can be made true if we really wish from the heart and put in everything we have. The book makes the boy to go to desert and then pyramids to search the treasure and ultimately bring backs to the original place from where he started to get the treasure. Meaning that we may be sitting already on treasure but never visualised.
We all know that the grass is greener on the other side or in hindi we say "Dusre ki thali mai sabko ghee najar aata hai". If it is so then some one else is feeling that our side grass is more greener and hence we only have to realise that. Once we are sure of our self and value our position, rest would be only focused efforts. When we would connect with the soul of the world the dreams would automatically become true.
Cheers.

Vision Development

Friends
i. In 1971 we had shifted to Jaipur from Tonk (Rajasthan). My father was not satisfied with the practice as Lawyer in Tonk and had got a job in Government of Rajasthan. In those days he was drawing a salary of Rs. 400/- per month and dependents were about Ten(including cousins). It is a matter of great surprise for me today to think about a family of ten living on the monthly earning of Rs. 500/-. He took me on his bicycle to the vast campus of Rajasthan University couple of times. He did not say anything just showed me hostels, colleges, main buildings and all. Probably he wanted to develop vision in me about higher education, professionalism and all. It was his style of developing vision in me otherwise what else can be a purpose to take a boy of 10 yrs to the university campus that too on 10 kms away from home . Later when I passed B.Com. (Hons.), I ranked 6th in the university in my subject.
ii. After graduation I used to visit the newly developed industrial area of Jaipur (VKIA) bout 20 kms. on cycle or by bus. The purpose was just to see the industries and read the names of various entities. While passing through them, I used to get excited about entrepreneurship. This vision put me into consultancy for corporates.
Above two incidences are not to boast about my self, I just want to share with all of you that we should develop vision in kids at very early stages. We should take them to university campuses, Industries, professional offices, Banks etc so they can dream about them. This is very important for parents if they wish their kids to be successful in life. We should also arrange visit for them to various successful personalities. Believe me it does not cost much and results in good help for their vision development.

1st July

Friends
1st July has special place in most of we people's life. Remember when as students, this day used to bring promotion for us to new class. Same teachers and School but still we used to feel senior. Lot of excitement and anxiety for higher class as if more responsibility on our heads. In the process we left some old friends and make new ones who become more closer during the year. Many of the colleagues who were dumb in previous years would become more intelligent and smarter whereas this elevation would put many intelligent colleagues towards dumbness. I remember the year 1977 July when I was elevated to Eleventh class and this promotion allowed us to wear Trousers in school instead of Nicker. This is the day when we used to hear the cries of small kids resisting going to school. This is the day when the teachers introduce themseves, show the vision for the whole year and promise to guide through oout the year for next elevation.
